Leading Research

The leading research being carried out at U of T Scarborough is making an impact in broad areas. Our researchers are addressing global problems such as climate change, hunger, pollution, stress and species extinction. The new Science building (scheduled to open in 2008) will further enhance the student and academic experience as a dynamic, collaborative centre for interdisciplinary research and teaching in the physical, environmental and life sciences.

• Outside the classroom, our campus delivers cultural programming to the campus and external community including concerts, drama productions, literary readings, and lectures.

• We offfer U of T’s only Bachelor of Business Administration – one of the most competitive undergraduate management programs in the country – and has introduced a new Master’s in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
• Our Early Teacher program and new Concurrent Teacher Education program are unique in Ontario.
• With robust studies in visual and performing arts, U of T Scarborough is the only campus in Ontario where you can take an integrated degree in arts management, drama, music, art and history.
• University of Toronto Scarborough has partnered with Ontario’s oldest community college, Centennial College, on joint programs in environmental science and technology, new media, journalism and paramedicine – which is the only degree-granting program of its kind in Canada.
